Account-based marketing agency for ANZ technology vendors
David & Goliath is an account-based marketing agency for technology vendors selling into enterprise accounts in Australia and New Zealand. Our managed programme connects expert content, account-based paid ads and human sales follow-up through one account plan, with agreed qualification, measurement and handoff to your sales team.
- For technology vendors with an enterprise offer and an ANZ growth mandate.
- One agreed target-account list across content, advertising and outreach.
- A free account-fit review starts the conversation.
- Delivery scope, fees, permissions and sales responsibilities are agreed together.
What do our ABM services include?
Our managed ABM programme connects three service pillars around the same accounts and buying roles: Employee-Led Content, Account-Based Paid Ads and Outbound & Sales Calling.
Account-Based Strategy establishes who to reach, which problems matter, what to say and who owns each next step. Your experts supply the subject matter; approved content gives the paid campaigns and human follow-up a useful reason to engage.
Your sales team owns later-stage conversion unless closing support is separately scoped. Agreed deliverables, volumes and responsibilities belong in the engagement, rather than in a generic list of promises.
Who do we work with?
We work with technology vendors selling into ANZ enterprise accounts. Technology, cybersecurity and AI-native vendors are assessed against the same offer, account, people, permissions and measurement requirements.
Headquarters, funding stage or team size do not establish fit on their own. You need a proven enterprise offer, meaningful account economics, a commercial sponsor, available experts and a sales follow-up owner.
How does an ABM engagement run?
Start with an account-fit review, agree the account plan and readiness requirements, then coordinate content, paid distribution and human outreach against an agreed baseline.
Before launch, confirm the target accounts, buying roles, exclusions, permissions, approver and sales owner. Separate a booked meeting from a held, qualified meeting so reporting reflects what happened.
Review account engagement, meeting quality, sales acceptance and delivery economics before deciding to continue, adapt or stop. The pilot begins at a readiness-approved kickoff; launch and review milestones are agreed in the engagement.
When should you hire an ABM agency instead of building in-house?
An agency can help when you have the offer, account priorities and sales ownership, but need coordinated delivery across content, paid ads and outreach. An internal team can be appropriate when it already has that capacity.
| Consideration | An agency may help when | In-house may fit when |
|---|---|---|
| Delivery | You need the three pillars coordinated | Your team can run and connect the channels |
| Expertise | Experts are available but need production support | Experts and content operators have time allocated |
| Sales follow-up | Sales ownership exists and handoff needs structure | Sales and marketing already share the account plan |
| Readiness | Inputs are ready and scope can be funded | Your team can resolve gaps before launch |
What does an ABM programme cost?
Fees and scope are agreed for the engagement. Delivery fees, media spend and tool costs are distinct, and the account tiers, channels and content needs shape the work required.
Where do we work?
Our core scope is technology vendors selling into enterprise accounts in Australia and New Zealand, regardless of where their headquarters are based.
Additional APJ markets require a separate feasibility, permissions and capacity review. Educational guides about a market do not establish local delivery capability.
Frequently asked questions
What are account-based marketing services?
Account-based marketing services help sales and marketing agree a target-account list and coordinate their activity around the buying group in each account. That can include account research, expert content, paid distribution, human outreach and measurement. At D&G, the agreed account plan connects the three delivery pillars and defines the handoff to your sales team.
What do your ABM services include?
D&G connects Employee-Led Content, Account-Based Paid Ads and Outbound & Sales Calling through one account plan. The engagement sets deliverables, account coverage, fees, permissions and responsibilities before delivery. Your experts provide subject matter, an approver signs off the work, and your sales team owns later-stage conversion unless that support is separately scoped.
Do we need a large marketing team to start?
A large marketing department is not itself a readiness requirement. You do need people who can supply expert knowledge, approve the work and follow up qualified conversations. You also need a commercial sponsor with budget authority, an enterprise offer, agreed account priorities and workable permissions. The fit check helps identify which of those inputs need discussion.
Do we need an ABM platform?
A platform does not replace account selection, useful content, sales ownership or an agreed measurement baseline. Review the tools you already have and the delivery needs of the account plan before adding another system. Our guide to ABM technology for lean teams explains the roles of CRM, enrichment, advertising and other tools without making a platform a prerequisite.
How long before an ABM programme shows results?
Readiness, launch and review milestones are agreed in the engagement. The pilot starts at a readiness-approved kickoff, and timing depends on the account plan, permissions, buyer activity and sales follow-up. A booked meeting, a held qualified meeting and a revenue outcome are different stages. D&G does not make a blanket meeting or revenue timing guarantee.
