Are you ready for account-based marketing?

ABM readiness means having the offer, target accounts, people, permissions and measurement inputs needed to coordinate sales and marketing. This free check helps technology vendors selling into ANZ identify what is ready and what needs discussion. Your result appears immediately, without an email gate, and does not predict commercial outcomes.

  • Six readiness questions with yes, not yet and not sure answers.
  • Your result is a readiness band with next steps, rather than a revenue forecast.
  • No email is required to see the result.
Do you have a proven enterprise offer with meaningful account economics?
Have you agreed an ANZ territory and priority-account pool?
Is there a named commercial sponsor with budget authority?
Are experts, an approver and a sales follow-up owner available?
Are outreach and media permissions, arrangements and access feasible?
Can you agree a baseline, meeting definition, scope and pilot-end decision?

Answer each question to identify what is ready and what needs discussion.

What does the check cover?

What the ABM Fit Check covers
InputWhat to establish
Enterprise offerA proven offer and meaningful account economics
Target accountsAn agreed ANZ territory and addressable account pool
Commercial sponsorA named sponsor with budget authority
PeopleExperts, an approver and a sales follow-up owner
PermissionsFeasible approved outreach, media arrangements and access
MeasurementA baseline, meeting definition, scope and pilot-end decision

The questions follow the inputs discussed before scoping a managed programme. A proven enterprise offer means you can explain the problem you solve and why the account economics justify focused effort. Account selection means sales and marketing agree the companies and buying roles to prioritise. A sponsor, available experts and a sales owner give the account plan practical ownership.

Permissions matter before channels are activated. Confirm the access, advertiser arrangements and approved outreach routes needed for the work. Measurement needs an agreed baseline and a clear distinction between a booked meeting, a held qualified meeting and sales acceptance. These decisions help the team review the same evidence.

How should you use your result?

A ready-for-review result means you have answered yes to every input. Bring those answers to a conversation so D&G can discuss the evidence and remaining dependencies. If an input is uncertain, identify who can clarify it. If it is not yet ready, use the gap list to agree what needs resolving before scoping a pilot.

This is a self-assessment, not an eligibility decision or a forecast. It does not confirm delivery capacity, funded scope or commercial outcomes. You can see every result without providing an email, and you can revisit an answer if your circumstances change. An optional emailed copy is separate from a request to book a review.

Frequently asked questions

What is ABM readiness?

ABM readiness means the essential inputs are available before a coordinated programme starts. These include a proven enterprise offer, workable account economics, agreed priority accounts, a commercial sponsor, experts, approvals, sales follow-up ownership and feasible permissions. Measurement also needs a baseline and qualification definition so that the team can assess progress against the same evidence.

What do I need before starting ABM?

Start with your enterprise offer, ANZ territory, priority-account pool and a commercial owner. Confirm who can supply expert knowledge, approve content and follow up sales conversations. Establish the access and permissions needed for outreach and paid media. Then agree what a qualified meeting means, how progress will be measured and which decisions the pilot review will inform.

Is this a forecast of meetings or revenue?

The result reflects your own answers to six readiness questions. It does not approve programme eligibility, confirm D&G delivery capacity or forecast meetings, pipeline or revenue. A ready-for-review result means you have indicated that the inputs are in place for a conversation. D&G still needs to discuss the evidence, funded scope and remaining dependencies with you.

Do I have to provide an email to see my result?

No. Your readiness band and any identified gaps appear as soon as you answer all six questions. If you want a copy, you can separately ask to have the results and recommended next steps emailed to you. That request is optional and does not change the result or replace an account-fit conversation.
