Government ICT Suppliers: Read the Footprint

Australia | Financial years 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26 | Initial lifetime contract commitments
The finding
The AusTender 2025-26 ICT notice cohort contains 2,151 distinct supplier identifiers across 7,846 original notices.

What this means for account planning
The supplier footprint helps frame research into incumbent relationships and possible partners. The aggregate downloads report identifier counts, without supplier names or a supplier directory.
When investigating official AusTender notices, use reported ABNs to investigate aliases, then verify the relationship independently. Where an ABN is absent, the study retains the publisher identifier rather than guessing that similar names refer to the same organisation.
This count is not the number of independent corporate groups, the number of competitors in a tender or a measure of bidding intensity. It should guide further research rather than a market-share claim.

Turn evidence into an account plan
Use the agency and category tables to investigate account fit, incumbent suppliers and contract timing. Historical awards do not establish an open opportunity or a future budget.
