What this means for account planning

This is a description-keyword finding inside the ICT cohort. It identifies notices whose published wording matches the disclosed search pattern, giving a cybersecurity vendor a reproducible starting set for manual account research.

The aggregate tables do not include contract descriptions. Read official AusTender notices before classifying a purchase as relevant to your product. A broad technology contract can mention security without being principally a cybersecurity purchase.

Keyword coverage also misses relevant contracts whose descriptions use different language. The method searches for cyber, cybersecurity, infosec, information security, network security, penetration testing, security operations centre, SIEM and SOC services variants. The methodology and script disclose the exact regular expression.

The count spans 2023-24 to 2025-26, rather than the latest financial year alone. Values are initial lifetime commitments recorded in original notices, with amendments excluded. Neither the count nor its associated value measures the complete cybersecurity market, annual expenditure or available budget.
